Part of the "Windows Live" series of products, which also includes Windows Live Messenger, Hotmail is Windows' official free web-based email client. As is the case with nearly all other email clients, Hotmail allows you to communicate with others not only with text-based messages but also by inserting multimedia -- such as photos -- into your email messages.
Instructions
1. Log in to your Hotmail account using your email address and password. If you're already signed into another Windows Live product on your computer -- such as Windows Live Messenger -- you need only confirm your password to gain access to Hotmail.
2. Click "New" to create a new email message. Open the "Photos" drop-down menu which sits atop the main "Compose" window. Click "New Album."
3. Browse your computer's hard drive for the photo you want to insert into your email. Click "Open" to insert it into the message.
